Why we exist

The gap between how good the work is and how good it looks.

If you work in agriculture, manufacturing, industrial or education, you've probably seen it up close: extraordinary substance, ordinary marketing. Businesses with decades of expertise being outranked, outshouted and out-hired by competitors with half the capability and twice the content.

The industry serving them wasn't built to fix it. Video companies make beautiful things with no plan for what happens next. Ads agencies run campaigns with nothing real to put in them. And almost nobody in either camp will drive three hours to a farm at 5am, or knows how to film a production line without stopping it.

So we built what should have existed all along: one partner that makes the content these sectors can't get anywhere else, then runs the advertising and AI systems that turn it into clients. Serious growth for businesses that do serious work.

Who is behind it

Steve Makari. Strategy first, and on every job.

Ivory Media started behind a camera. Steve built the business on video: thousands of shoots across paddocks, factory floors, work sites and campuses, for everyone from local operators to UNSW, CNH Industrial and the NSW Department of Education.

The turn came from watching what happened after delivery. Beautiful films handed over with no system behind them went quiet. The clients who grew were the ones where the content had a strategy, a distribution plan and a follow-up machine. So the business was rebuilt around that whole system, three engines instead of one camera, with strategy leading everything.

Steve leads that strategy on every engagement. Not a founder name on the website while juniors run the account: the person you meet on the discovery call is the person who builds your plan, directs your shoots and owns your result, backed by specialist crews and systems per job.
