Sky High Values

Premium Building Management (PBM) manages a portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial property worth more than $1.5 billion, which makes them one of the larger property managers in NSW. They wanted two videos: a short brand piece fronted by their General Manager, and a longer one showing what their building managers actually do day to day.

The catch was access. Their hero property, a Parramatta high-rise, was available for one day only. Every overlay shot for both videos had to be captured inside that window.

The building's best asset was the view from the top, so we scripted the shoot to work from the rooftop down. We opened just after sunrise with drone shots that showed the scale of the property and the reach across to the mountains, then followed the building manager through a long list of tasks from the rooftop to the basement, each one a different location, different talent and different lighting.

A nimble two-person crew kept it moving and a producer held the schedule to the minute, because there was no second day to fall back on. Once the property was covered, we shot the GM's pieces to camera separately and brought in a voice-over artist for the day-in-the-life narration.

Both videos came back in from a single day of access, and PBM now runs them across their platforms to bring in prospective clients, alongside email campaigns to the building owners and developers they already work with. The whole point was to make a serious portfolio look as serious online as it is on the ground, and that's what the work does.
